Booth Lake / Standard Lake / Palmiter Lake
The State of Michigan refers to this lake as Booth Lake, but the "Locals" might refer to it as Standard Lake, or even as Palmiter Lake.
It was told that a Mr. Standard lived by the lake so that was how Standard became attached as another name for the lake.

A Fisheries Survey of Booth (Standard) Lake Charlevoix and Otsego Counties was prepared 15 June 1942. The C.C.C. in the winter of 1935-36 prepared a map of Booth Lake which was used in the survey. Publication of this information is made possible by the University of Michigan Library.
